Biography
A Passion for Coaching
Ryan turned professional in 2013 and, over 11+ years as a PGA golf coach, has dedicated his career to helping golfers of all abilities unlock their potential. After honing his craft at Old Fold Manor Golf Club, he joined Knebworth Golf Club in 2015, where he has built a reputation as one of Hertfordshire's most sought-after coaches.
His coaching journey has been shaped by working alongside and learning from tour professionals including Simon Dyson, Matt Belsham, Ben Storey, and Lee Scarborough - experience that informs every lesson he delivers.
Ryan coaches the full spectrum - from complete beginners picking up a club for the first time through to plus-handicap golfers fine-tuning for competition. Every session is data-driven, personalised, and focused on measurable improvement, using the TrackMan 4 studio and short game facilities at Knebworth. Pupils travel in from across Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties.

Jack Mudd Academy
Co-founded with Head Professional Ian Parker, the Jack Mudd Academy is named in memory of Jack Mudd - a promising young Stevenage golfer who tragically lost his life in a car accident at the age of 19.
Now with over 70 juniors enrolled, the academy runs a 10-level programme for players aged 6-16, covering everything from first swings to main course play. It's about more than technique - it's about building confidence, teaching etiquette, and nurturing a love for the game.
